You may have already seen this on Substack Notes (or Instagram, or LinkedIn…) but dropping it here too just in case. A few months ago I submitted an excerpt from "You're Not Gonna' Like It" (a 20-chapter serial novel I published on Amazon and Kindle) to a handful of literary magazines in the hopes one of them would publish it. I picked a chapter titled "They Called Her Lizzy" because it can stand alone as a single story, without requiring the reader to know what happened before or after.
I commented on the note already, but again, congratulations! This one was a great chapter, and it's excellent news you got it published. That's the way!
