Aside from being clever, this is funny the way Fargo the film was funny. Can I cross-post this?

Thank you, Camila - and you can pin it on the stall of a public bathroom if that makes you happy. I’ll gladly take whatever exposure I can get.

Reading this in a Marriott in Williamsport, PA. Gave a real chuckle. Liked this one.

David Hockney had this idea of joinery with photography. I feel like this is a bit like that.

I’ll go ahead and assume you paid for that hotel room in cash

I tried to pay in Zubrowkan Klubecks, alas they wouldn't take them.

Love this! Didn't realize my imagination could run that wild. Clever and different!

Thanks Trisha! If 100 people "read" this, there would be 100 different versions of what everyone thought went down.

80 bucks for a haircut?! Are you Rod Stewart?

Bryan Wiler's avatar

I didn’t wake up in bed surrounded by hordes of women, so, sadly…no, I’m not.

Ricardo A. Martagón's avatar

That’s ok, I’m not him either 🫂

As soon as I saw that duffel receipt I knew it was on 🤣 Well done, this was a lot of fun.

Bryan Wiler's avatar

Thanks Andy! The duffel is a signal for people of a certain variety. Glad to know you’re one of those people.

I see what you’re doing there, sir, and I like it.

Bryan Wiler's avatar

I appreciate that, but, umm, shouldn’t you be writing the next chapter of the mad ophelias?

J. Lincoln Fenn's avatar

It’s coming! I swear!

Bryan Wiler's avatar

Looking forward to it

Yes! This is experimentation! Loved it.

Bryan Wiler's avatar

very experimental. inspired by a (true) story I heard at work this week about a sales guy who submitted his expense report to accounting and it included a receipt for condoms. immediately triggered ideas for me.

Levi Polzin's avatar

Yes! I love it when inspiration comes from the most unlikely of places.

You stretched your legs on this one. And it was fun.

Bryan Wiler's avatar

the process was very different. I essentially wrote the story in my head and decided what pieces could be illustrated with receipts.

Levi Polzin's avatar

In a way, it reminded me of Chuck P’s book Rant. In which the story of the main character is told by anyone and everyone outside of him.

Great execution of an abstract idea, my friend!

This is very cool and clever!

Thanks Vince! Just messing around a little.
